Hiking
You may find a number of enjoyable one-day hike routes sometimes combining with a mini-trekking of 2-3 days in the Kathmandu Valley Rim. These rewarding countryside day hikes will introduce you to the abundant historical, ecological and cultural experience of Nepalese hill life. In addition, you will enjoy unbelievable beautiful mountain views.
A half-day leisurely hike along the eastern ridge of the Kathmandu Valley Mountains from Changunarayan to Nagarkot is one of the most popular hiking routes.

Mountain Biking
Mountain biking is another way of exploring the countryside in Nepal. The outskirts of the Kathmandu Valley, outer rims of Pokhara, and pleasant routes to other destinations outside the Kathmandu, Valley are the best trails for this outdoor sport. de' Snowman can arrange you mountain biking from 1 to 30 days. The shorter ones around the Kathmandu valley rim do not need to grease the elbow. However, the longer trip is required of more kinetic energy. Ballooning
The new outdoor sports of Hot Air Ballooning are HOT in Kathmandu. You may watch the cool mountains and the dry valleys from the mid-air hot balloons floating at an altitude of 3,000 meter. It may take some time to induce you to rely totally upon nothing but the Propane Gas but you will hate to come down as you ascend higher and go on pressing the shutter of your camera to take the photographs of those majestic mountains. Heli-Tour
Originating the Heli Tour/trek is to offer the essence of tour/trekking and the helicopter flight retaining all the adventure pleasure and excitement of the authenticity of a tour/trek within a limited period. You can take a helicopter flight to a trekking zone reducing the time spent during the real trek and enjoy the charm of a trek. Similarly, you can also take a tour of interesting places at no time. While trekking, you will walk on the trails with loads of personal stuffs on your back but on a heli trek you will fly over the trekking trails, zooming over the Rhododendron forest, rivers and valleys. Jungle Safari
Wildlife enthusiasts may stay on in the lodges and tented camps to watch wild animals and birds in the national parks such as Royal Chitwan National Park, Royal Bardia Wildlife Reserve and other wildlife parks and reserves where the private safari operators have permits from the government to operate wildlife lodges and tented camps. The Royal Chitwan National Park is situated between the Mahabharat range and Churia hills.
